KS2 – Majesty Schools

KS2

KS2 (Year 3 – Year 6)

At Majesty, we are proud to offer the Cambridge Primary programme, a dynamic educational pathway
that guides learners through an exciting journey of growth and discovery. Designed for children aged 5 to
11 years, the curriculum focuses on developing key skills across more than ten subjects, including
English, Mathematics, and Science.

With Cambridge Primary, we offer a flexible framework that allows us to tailor the learning experience to
meet the individual needs of each student. Our assessment tools help track students’ progress, giving us
the ability to provide detailed reports and updates to parents. This approach ensures that every child’s
learning journey is well-supported and personalized.
Cambridge Primary is also an excellent foundation for future learning, seamlessly preparing students for
the Cambridge Lower Secondary programme and offering a smooth transition into other educational
systems.

Our students receive a well-rounded education through a combination of class teacher and specialist-led
lessons. Core subjects such as Mathematics, English, Science, Global Perspectives, ICT, and Well-being
(Character Building), in addition to Modern languages. Specialist teachers lead lessons in Arabic,
Religion, Social Studies, Music, PE, and Art.
We thoughtfully adapt our curricula to meet the needs of our learners and to reflect our unique context. In
alignment with national requirements, Arabic, Religion, and Social Studies are taught following the
curriculum set by the Egyptian Ministry of Education.

English

At Majesty, we teach the Cambridge Primary English curriculum to build confident communicators and
lifelong lovers of reading and writing.
Our learners master essential language skills—reading, writing, speaking, and listening—that they apply
fluently in school and everyday life.
This dynamic programme fosters clear expression, critical thinking, and collaboration, empowering
students to understand and create meaningful spoken and written texts while supporting their intellectual,
creative, and social development.

Mathematics

At Majesty, we deliver the Cambridge Primary Mathematics curriculum to ignite a lifelong passion for
analytical and rational thinking. Our students gain a deep, connected understanding of math—exploring
patterns, systems, and relationships—while becoming fluent, confident problem-solvers in real-world
contexts.
Central to our approach is Thinking and Working Mathematically, a distinctive method built on eight key
skills: specializing, generalizing, conjecturing, convincing, characterizing, classifying, critiquing, and
improving.
Through rich, collaborative tasks, learners explore, reason, and build powerful connections across
concepts—developing sharp problem-solving abilities and a strong grasp of math in everyday life.

Science

At Majesty, we offer the Cambridge Primary Science curriculum to ignite curiosity and empower learners
to explore and explain the world around them.
Through a balanced focus on scientific thinking, practical skills, and core knowledge, students develop a
strong foundation for future learning and informed decision-making—especially on real-world issues like
sustainability.
A standout feature is the Science in Context strand, which makes science relevant to everyday life and
helps students see themselves as confident, capable scientists.

Checkpoint Exam "Year 6"

The Cambridge Primary Checkpoint exam is an external assessment administered by Cambridge

International Education at the end of Stage 6. It assesses learners’ knowledge and skills in

subjects like English, Mathematics, and Science. The results provide an international benchmark

of learner performance, helping to identify strengths and weaknesses for future learning and

educational planning.
